MD, PhD student and junior assistant at the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Anthropology of Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University.
Her main research interest is the evaluation of growth, long-term physical and health outcomes, and anthropometric assessment of body size of preterm newborns in Lithuania. She also focus on the influence of mother’s physical, mental health, education, and social status to the size and growth of newborn. Within this project, she will try to assess the impact of premature birth to mothers’ mental, physical, and social health, challenges in maternal bonding, attachment and self-reported competence to take care of preterm baby, as well as the changes in expectations regarding child’s health and future perspectives.
