Maja Bodin

Maja Bodin is an affiliated researcher at the Centre for Gender Research at Uppsala University. She a midwife by profession and a PhD in reproductive health. Her research is interdisciplinary and deals with reproductive decision-making and parenthood ideals, and she combines perspectives from reproductive medicine, gender and sociology. She is currently working on a study about parents who regret having children, where ideals of good motherhood stands out as an important theme.
