Jolanta Malažinskienė, a PhD student at the Department of Social Work and Social Welfare, Faculty of Philosophy, Vilnius University, focuses her research on mothering within the context of intimate partner violence, gender policy, family policy, motherhood, gender-based violence, and domestic violence.
Currently, she is investigating the nuances of conceptualizing mothering in the context of intimate partner violence across different time periods. Her research also involves exploring the reevaluation of various theoretical perspectives on violence against women, specifically in interpreting the challenges of motherhood within the context of intimate partner violence.
