Greta defended her PhD thesis ‘Single-mother families in the context of family policy’ at Vilnius University in December 2021. Her research is focused on single-mother families and social policy. Other areas of interest include mental health issues, family sociology, education and social inclusion. Currently she has a postdoctoral project titled ‘Single mothers’ families: welfare states’ social policy measures and Lithuanian mothers’ experiences in emigration’ at Mykolas Romeris University.
In her free time she does Crossfit, plays the piano, sings classical music and enjoys outdoor activities. Moreover, she enjoys drifting to live in a another country for a while and had lived in the UK, Germany, Malta and Kenya so far.
